J. Walusimbi. She provided comprehensive healthcare services to communities emerging from the effects of the NRA guerilla war, including general care, ANC care, deliveries, immunizations under UNEPI, and health education provided in a makeshift outpost in Kakiri town.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>With the support of local leaders and partners like Mr. Matiriini Mukasa and Ms. Tereza Namatovu, a 7-room facility was built to provide maternal and child health services and general medical care at the current facility location.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>In 2019, the facility underwent a major renovation and extension a new extension was built. It was fully refurbished to include a laboratory, pharmacy, modern hospital beds, and more diagnostic equipment.
